Handling of personal data

The protection of personal data such as name, address or contact information is very important to us. entergon GmbH & Co. KG takes various precautions to ensure the safety of your personal data at all times. Your data will be faithfully protected against falsification, manipulation, loss, destruction and unauthorised access or disclosure. In this respect we do not collect personal information from you without your consent. You alone decide whether you want to share your data with us or not. Your personal data will only be used to respond to your requests, process your orders or give you access to specific information or offers. Of course, your personal data will neither be passed on to third parties nor used or marketed in any other way.

Information obligations according to Art. 13 of the GDPR: Information on the processing of your personal data

Collecting general information

Whenever you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet Service Provider and the like. This only involves information which does not allow any conclusions to be reached about your person. This information is technically necessary to deliver correctly the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us, in order to optimise our Internet presence and the technology behind it.

Newsletter

When you sign up to receive our newsletter, the data which you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be notified of circumstances relevant to the service or registration by email (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions). For an effective registration we need a valid email address. In order to verify that an application is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose we log the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the requested answer. Further data is not collected. The data is used exclusively for distribution of the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties. The consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the distribution of the newsletter may be revoked at any time. Each newsletter contains a corresponding link. You can also unsubscribe on this website at any time, or provide us with your request via the contact details listed at the end of this document.

Contact form

If you contact us by email or a contact form, the data which you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for any possible follow-up questions.

Use Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the agreement across the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data provided by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You may also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

Link: Browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. As a result an opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent any recording by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. The feature is designed to present interest-related advertisements to website visitors within the Google Network. A so-called “cookie” is stored in the browser of the website visitor, which makes it possible to recognise the visitor when he visits the web pages belonging to the advertising network of Google. On these pages, visitors may be presented with advertisements related to content which the visitor previously viewed on web pages using Google’s remarketing feature.
According to its own information Google claims that it does not collect any personal information during this process. However, if you do not wish to use Google Remarketing, you can opt out by adjusting the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Analysis by WiredMinds

Our website uses the counting pixel technology of WiredMinds AG (www.wiredminds.de) to analyse visitor behaviour
Here is collected, processed and stored the data from which usage profiles are created under a pseudonym. Wherever it is possible and reasonable to do so, these usage profiles are completely anonymised. Cookies can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files which are stored in the visitor’s Internet browser and serve to recognise the Internet browser. The collected data, which may also contain personal data, will be transmitted to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information which is left following visits to the websites in order to create anonymised usage profiles. The data obtained without the separately granted consent of the person concerned will not be used to identify the visitor to this website personally, and it will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym. Insofar as IP addresses are recorded, their immediate anonymisation takes place by deleting the last number block.
